Why Hasn’t Lois Lerner been “Thrown Under the Bus”?

Barack Obama hasn’t tossed Lois Lerner under the proverbial bus.  Does anyone think that it’s because “under the bus” has gotten too crowded?

Obama has tossed literally dozens of people under his bus once they become liabilities, even including the man who was his pastor and officiated at his wedding.

So why hasn’t Lois Lerner been treated the same way?  Could it be that Ms. Lerner has evidence of such a damaging nature that Obama is willing to take the (admittedly low levels of) heat over the IRS targeting scandal rather than be exposed to the accusations that would follow should Ms. Lerner open up before a congressional committee?

I would imagine that would be a likely reason for treating her with kid gloves on the part of the administration.  As with most poker players, this behavior ought to be viewed as a “tell”, and Representative Issa’s committee should immediately offer Lerner limited immunity, and find out for themselves just exactly what terrifies Obama about her possible testimony.

One Response to Why Hasn’t Lois Lerner been “Thrown Under the Bus”?

  1. kathy says:

well, she deserves to be waterboarded for what she has done and to get her to tell the truth but, okay, limited immunity if she sings like a canary and takes this all the way to the top. Why is it only Judicial Watch that sues to get the truth and the emails about Benghazi and the IRS scandal and not the select comittees of Congress. This administration is a festering boil. When will it erupt and be cleaned out? Why is Congress not closing in on Lerner faster. All these Obama scandals and no justice makes it an untenable situation.
I agree with you and thanks for this post
