Recognizing Cowardice

Too many people in this nation, and around the world in other nations, refuse to look a problem in the eye and call it out for what it is.  Bill Whittle has a gift that has been given to few.  He actually does call things as he sees them, even if the occasional loudmouth finds the truth “offensive.”  Or at least they use the word “offensive.”  I’ve skimmed through the dictionary and thesaurus seeking a single word to replace “offensive” with one that can be used to be more accurate, but no such luck.

When many say that they find push-back against ISIS or CAIR or La Raza “offensive”, what, in my view, is really an expression of fear.  Those who are saying to the rest of us that we need to stop calling those who commit murder “murderers” are just saying that murderers scare the hell out of them and are effectively saying to these self-same killers that “Hey, you win, we’ll do all we can not to piss you off, so please don’t kill ME!”

Bill Whittle has expanded on this thought and here is his video piece on this very topic.
